How the Kaxaa Index Works
The Kaxaa Index is a proprietary, multi-market economic reference designed to measure realworld economic value using multiple independent global indicators rather than relying on any single asset, country, or market. It begins with a weighted average of major global real-estate indexes from the United States, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, and Australia, providing broad exposure to established international property-market trends. This foundation is complemented by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which captures changes in consumer prices and purchasing power, and USCI, which adds a commodity-market and broader inflationary signal reflecting changes in global supply, demand, and economic conditions. These independent data streams are then normalized, weighted, and balanced through Kaxaa’s proprietary methodology, which is designed to account for differences between markets and reduce the influence of unusual movements in any single component. The result is the Kaxaa Index: a unified, diversified economic reference value that incorporates global real-estate performance, consumer purchasing power, inflation, and commodity-market conditions. The strength of the Index lies in its multi-dimensional approach—using independent real-world economic data to create a dynamic reference for the KAX ecosystem.
The Kaxaa Index measures market health. The Kaxaa Index blends six national real estate price indexes with other market indicators (interest rates, real residential property prices, and the All-Transactions House Price Index) sourced from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED).
